PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode having a structure in which a discharge member having a plurality of projecting parts is assembled with an electrode base body by using tightening members at the projecting parts, and capable of uniformly and tightly fitting each projecting part to an electrode base body surface even when a body of the discharge member is distorted or deformed. SOLUTION: The electrode 1 has a structure that the discharge member 3 having a plurality of projecting parts 20 is assembled with the electrode base body 2 by using the tightening members 6 at the projecting parts 20. If any incompletely tightened area caused by a space or the like between each discharge member side conductive surface 20a and a base body side conductive surface 54a occurs when the discharge member side conductive surface (a tip surface) 20a of the plurality of projecting parts 20 overlaps an area corresponding to the base body side conductive surface 54a in a non-tightened condition, the incompletely tightened areas are individually reduced based on the elastic deformation of the body part caused by the tightening force of individual tightening members 6. Even when the body part 3a of the discharge member 3 is formed slightly thick, a deformation-supporting thin-walled part 18 is formed in a part of the area, and the body part 3a can be easily bent or twisted by the deformation supporting thin-walled part 18.
