<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the number of component parts, thereby improving an assembling operation and reducing the production cost. <P>SOLUTION: The plug connector C1 is constructed by holding a flat wiring material 1 by a housing 10 so as to project an exposed portion of a conductor 2 in front. The housing 10 has a housing main body 10a provided with a core plate 14 at a base portion 12 and a locking piece 10b rockably connected thereto. A pair of slit-like through holes 18 are vertically made in the base portion 12 with the core plate 14 held between them. The wire material 1 is inserted into one-side through hole 18 from the rear side of the base portion, folded at the free end of the core plate 14 along the core plate and inserted into the other-side through hole 18 to guide it to the rear side of the base portion. In this state, the locking piece 10b is engaged with the rear side of the base portion, whereby the wiring material 1 is held by the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
