METHOD FOR REDUCING VOLUME OF ORGANIC SLUDGE

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for reducing volume of organic sludge by performing electrolysis of the organic sludge so as to remove cellularity from microorganism organic sludge, leaving only cell membrane and cell wall. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of settling microorganism and separating the settlement of the microorganism in a settling basin(26), inputting sludge which is the microorganism settlement into an electrolysis apparatus(11), and breaking cell wall of the microorganism so as cellularity of the microorganism to be released out by applying power of 1dA per 1L of organic sludge to the electrolysis apparatus for 30 minutes, wherein the cell wall is broken by highly activated hypochlorous acid which is generated during the electrolysis.
