The connector plug part has a plug body (1) provided with a front outer contact part (5), electrically coupled to a rear termination region (6) for cooperating with the outer conductor of a coaxial cable and enclosing an insulation part (8) having a central opening (9) receiving a contact pin (10) which is coupled to the inner conductor of the coaxial cable. The rotatable bayonet sleeve (2) fitted to the plug body is operated via a separate operating sleeve (19), projecting rearwards beyond the rear termination region.
