A bending press has two end-stands astride a lower panel, a vertically-adjustable upper panel and a bending face which swivels about a bending axis (5). The bending face ends have moving supports (12) with elongated holes with adjustable bolts transverse to the bending axis. The bolt (42) holes (14) also accommodate lock nuts (33).
