FRONT OPTICAL FILTER FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A front optical filter is provided to achieve improved strength of the filter, while preventing a double reflection of the light and reducing weight and thickness of the filter. CONSTITUTION: A front optical filter comprises a transparent substrate, an electromagnetic interference shielding member, an anti-reflection film, and a near infrared ray shielding member. The transparent substrate is constituted by a lamination of films formed of a transparent plastic resin of two or more plies. The transparent plastic resin has a thickness of 25 to 250 micron meters and a light transmittance of 80% or higher.
