<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture photographing device and a picture photographing system which are based on premises that picture data is transmitted to and recorded in an external recording device without being preserved in a non-volatile memory like a card. <P>SOLUTION: The picture photographing device is provided with a release button for photographing a picture, an image pickup means, a transmission means for transmitting picture data to an external recording device, and a control means which performs control to transmit the picture data to the external recording device without preserving the picture data in a non-volatile recording device, and the picture photographing device is provided with the non-volatile recording device for preserving the picture data and is provided with a recording mode selection means for allowing selection between a recording mode of recording the picture data in the external recording device without preserving the picture data in the non-volatile recording device and a recording mode of preserving the picture data in the non-volatile recording device, and the picture photographing system is provided with the picture photographing device, the external recording device, and a means for communication between the picture photographing device and the external recording device and causes the external recording device to receive the picture data transmitted from the picture photographing device through the communication means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
