<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which controls a motor driving a centrifugal separation rotor and makes a current, fed/returned from/to a power supply in the power operation and power supply regenerative operation of the motor, have a current waveform with a high power factor and with reduced harmonic current components. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a power supply bidirectional power converter 22, whose AC side is connected to an AC power supply 21 via a reactor 23 and whose DC side is connected to a smoothing capacitor 24, and a bidirectional power converter 26, whose AC side is connected to a motor 28 and whose DC side is connected to the smoothing capacitor 24, and two power converters are controlled by a control means 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
