PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip ring device capable of improving reliability by always varying a contact position with a brush of a fixed contact member during the rotation of a slip ring of a rotary contact member of either of a disc type or a drum type, thereby equalizing the abrasion amount of the brush to eliminate a jam of abrasion powder, and thereby reducing the incidence rate of contact failure. SOLUTION: This disc type slip ring device is provided with: a rotary disc 1 mounted to a rotation shaft 2; the circular slip ring 3 of the rotary contact member attached to a disc surface of the rotary disc; and the brush 5 of the fixed contact member for transmitting an electric signal by contacting to the slip ring. The slip ring center is mounted eccentrically with respect to the rotation shaft center to eccentrically rotate the slip ring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
