The barometer has a measuring system comprising a tube of polyvinyl chloride with one zone (18) forming its air reservoir and another (19) filled with a pressure transmitting liquid. The end of the tube adjacent to the air reservoir has a sealed brass connector (12) with a cap (14), mounted on a shouldered ring with a medium hard rubber O-ring or washer, for adjusting the pressure in the tube. The barometer has a measuring system comprising a supple and transparent tube of polyvinyl chloride with one zone (18) forming its air reservoir and another (19) filled with a pressure transmitting liquid for its measuring tube. The end of the tube adjacent to the air reservoir has a sealed brass connector (12) with a threaded cap (14), mounted on a shouldered ring with a medium hard rubber O-ring or washer, for adjusting the pressure in the tube to the local altitude, while a movable panel engraved with pressures from 980 to 1045 hpa (sic) and symbols depicting different weather conditions can be adjusted against the liquid level. An adjoining thermometer allows adjustments to be made for temperature.
