PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image composing method capable of automatically converting the whole image arrayed two-dimensionally into one-dimensional array so that adjacent images are overlapped, even when an image does not exist on a part of a two-dimensional lattice as a result of arrangement of a photographed image in a two-dimensional lattice shape on a monitor screen. SOLUTION: This method has a step for registering, relative to each image arranged two-dimensionally, adjacent image information comprising information for specifying adjacent images having an overlapped part and information on the center distance with the adjacent image, a step for searching for a route satisfying a condition that each adjacent image having the overlapped part is combined together and capable of enclosing the whole image with one stroke by using the adjacent image information registered relative to each image, and a step for arraying the whole image one-dimensionally in the order of the found route when the route satisfying the condition that each adjacent image is combined together and capable of enclosing the whole image with one stroke is found.
