ELEMENT HAVING SYMMETRICAL AMPLIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interesting application in an interface circuit for optical fiber. SOLUTION: An automatic gain control circuit 27 is added to a symmetrical amplifier 19, and the circuit is made insensitive to changes in the offset voltage of the amplifier. The control circuit 27 has a peak detector for giving best result for this kind of circuit that is intended to process a signal having extremely high frequency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
