<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection method and system, capable of dispensing with a clerk's special work for collecting customer information, collecting the customer information over a business talk with the customer, and performing individual measure to the customer. <P>SOLUTION: Conversation of the customer and the clerk is input as voice information from a voice input means 1, and the information on the customer is read from a card reader 12 to identify the customer by a customer identifying means 11. The input voice information is converted to character information by an information converting means 2, and then semantic analysis is made by a document analysis means 3.
