PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POLYCARBONATE

A process for producing a polycarbonate by the interfacial polycondensation method, in which an organic solvent is stably and highly efficiently recovered at low cost from a gas which contains the organic solvent, e.g., methylene chloride, and has generated in each step, while inhibiting apparatus corrosion. An organic-solvent-containing gas which has generated in each step in a process for producing a polycarbonate by the interfacial polycondensation method is treated by the pressure-swing adsorption method to thereby recover the organic solvent.
