The invention relates to an energy device, particularly a device (1) based on weights for producing energy. The device comprises a weight (3) with restricted movement, located on a sleeve-like member (2), and in which there is a device (6, 7) for resting on a counter-surface (8). The sleeve and weight combination is attached to a bogie-type transfer device (9), in order to move the combination (2, 3) laterally. A float arrangement (19, 20) can also be used in the device.
