A method for producing a metallic label associable with a fabric or item of leatherwear that comprises a first step of producing a metal plate (2) having an intended shape, which is then treated so as to obtain one or more microperforated regions (3). The resulting blank is closed in a mold in order to inject thermoplastic material at the one or more microperforated regions (3).
