PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient pre-stretched amount with small motion during a pre-stretching operation of a stretch-wrap packaging apparatus. SOLUTION: First, a width W1 of a commodity G and a width W3 of a film are obtained. Then, left and right clamps 51 and 52 are moved according to the width W1 of the commodity G and the width W3 of the film to correct initial positions of the clamps 51 and 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
