PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing any temperature rise of a motor to rotate a carrying roller, and preventing any thermal effect on the carrying roller and a light scanning unit. SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 comprises a carrying roller 523 to carry a film F, a light scanning unit 4 to perform the light scanning by irradiating light on the film F, a frame 524 which holds the carrying roller 523 and has the light scanning unit 4, a supporting part 525 which is provided on the frame 524 to support a motor M, and a reduction gear mechanism 526 which reduces the rotational speed of the motor M to that of the carrying roller 523 and transmits the rotation to the roller. The supporting part 525 comprises a heat radiating unit 539 provided on the motor M to radiate the heat generated from the motor M, and fitting parts 540 and 540 which are provided on the heat radiating unit 539 to fit the motor M to the frame 524 via the heat radiating unit 539.
