PURPOSE: A method for loading software in a mobile communication system is provided to load a software file compressed from a CCP(Central Control Processor) through a target processor when loading software required for a system operation, thereby using efficiently communication path resources through the reduction of loading packets. CONSTITUTION: A target processor requires a software loading to a CCP(ST11). The CCP transmits information on the requested software to the target processor(ST12). Then the target processor transmits a response signal to the CCP(ST13). Thereafter, the CCP analyzes the corresponding software(ST14) and discriminates whether the compression of files is performed, in case that the size of the software is large or in case there are many software versions(ST15). When a file compression is performed, the size and numbers of the software versions are shortened or reduced(ST16). If the file compression is unnecessary, the corresponding software is read and then transmitted to the target processor(ST17). Then the target processor checks whether the transmission is completed(ST18) and then transmits the check result to the CCP(ST19). Thereafter, the target processor checks whether the loaded file is compressed(ST20). When the loaded file is compressed, the file is decompressed(ST21) and stored to a memory(ST22). Thereafter, the corresponding software is operated(ST23). |
