PURPOSE: An optical fiber block minimizing stress concentration is provided to minimize optical loss by minimizing stress concentration in an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: The optical fiber block(40) comprises an optical fiber alignment area(42) comprising a number of V-grooves and an optical fiber and a stress relief depth area(44) for reducing stress due to a coating thickness of the optical fiber by being prolonged from the above fiber alignment area. The first fiber alignment area(421) is prolonged with the first V-grooves(421a) arranged in parallel with each other, and has a width as much as not contacting with an outer circumference of a bare optical fiber. The second fiber alignment area(422) is arranged by being prolonged from the first V-grooves, and contacts with the outer circumference of the bare optical fiber, and comprises the second V-grooves(422a) having different width from the first V-grooves.
