PURPOSE: A thimble style ball mouse is provided to conveniently use the ball mouse by putting the ball mouse on a finger without disturbing the rolling movement of a mouse ball on a rounded or a corrugated part. CONSTITUTION: A thimble style main body(20) has an internal space(25) fit to a shape of the forefinger. The mouse ball(30) is installed under an end of the main body(20), and is rotated by contacting with the rounded or corrugated part. An x/y axis directional movement sensor detects the movement of the x/y axis directional movement according to the rotation of the mouse ball(30). A switch(40) carries out a function selected on a cursor position on a display screen by installing to the foremost front in the internal space(25) of the main body(20). A signal cable(50) transfers a detection signal of the x/y axis directional movement sensor and a selection signal from the switch(40) to the computer. |
