PURPOSE: Counter flow preventive structure of a tub cover for a washing machine is provided to improve the reliability, and to prevent washing water from being transmitted to the upper part of the tub cover through a through hole regardless of rotation direction by shielding the through hole of a passing part with a vertical guide and a horizontal guide. CONSTITUTION: A counter flow preventive system is composed of a cover body installed in the upper part of a water tub; a passing part(30) penetrating the cover body and having a through hole(33) opened for the edge of the water tub; a horizontal guide(35) formed in the lower part of the cover body to form the through hole horizontally to the tub cover; and a vertical guide(37) extended downward to surround the outlet of the horizontal guide and both ends. Both sides and the rear part of the horizontal guide are extended downward, and a shield plate is extended to close the through hole. The rear part of the vertical guide is faced to the rear part of the horizontal guide, and both sides of the vertical guide are formed perpendicularly to water stream to prevent water from flowing into the through hole. |
