PURPOSE: A yoke fabricating method is provided to reduce manufacturing time and manufacturing cost of the yoke for a rivet and to improve a characteristic of a battery by simply and easily carrying out the yoke fabricating process. CONSTITUTION: Metal material having a wire shape is cut into a predetermined size(S1). Then, one end of metal material is pressed so as to form metal material into a two-stepped cylindrical structure(S2). Then, a forging process is carried out with respect to metal material. After forming the two-stepped cylindrical structure, metal material is again subject to a punching process in order to form metal material into a basic yoke shape(S3). Then, the basic yoke shape is processed into a complete yoke shape through an additional punching process(S4). After that, a trimming process is carried out in order to cut a flat section of the yoke into a predetermined size(S5).
