DEFLECTION YOKE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to correct accurately the N/S distortion on a screen by changing easily the magnetic flux density of an NS magnet. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke includes a coil separator(10), an NS magnet(20), and a fixing portion(30). The coil separator includes a neck portion of a small diameter and a screen portion(11) of a large diameter. The neck portion is coupled to an electron gun portion of a cathode ray tube. The screen portion is coupled to one side of a screen side of the cathode ray tube. The NS magnet is installed on an outer surface of the screen portion of the coil separator in order to control a convergence characteristic. The fixing portion is projected from the outer surface of the screen portion of the coil separator. A space portion is formed at the inside of the fixing portion. A rim portion of one open side of the fixing portion is extended to the predetermined height in order to move the NS magnet within the fixing portion. A groove(31) is formed at the fixing portion in order to catch the NS magnet.
