DATA TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device for transferring a data packet based on characteristics of data for efficient retransmission and also to provide its method.

SOLUTION: A data transmitting/receiving system and its method are disclosed. An identification information generating part adds identification information which is generated from an IP packet based on data information comprising a data type of a payload data and/or a temporal data sequence of the payload data to an IP/UDP/RTP packet. A packet segmenting part segments the IP/UDP /RTP packet added with identification information into an IP/UDP/RTP header and IP/UDP/RTP data. The segmented IP/UDP/RTP header and data can be transmitted through different channels. A receiver sends retransmission control information based on the added identification information extracted by the receiver. A transmitter retransmits reception error occurring IP/UDP/RTP data according to the retransmission control information received by the transmitter.
