PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a ceramic element body where yield and reliability are improved. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, three unbaked ceramic sheets 1 are laminated, and a laminated ceramic sheet 2 made of the same material is formed. Then, a specific shape such as a through hole 4 and an irregular section 6 is formed by die punching in the laminated ceramic sheet 2. After that, the laminated ceramic sheet 2 is separated into individual pieces 9, and a plurality of ceramic element bodies are formed. In this case, some parts of outer surfaces of the plurality of ceramic element bodies are formed of the inner-periphery surface of the through hole 4 and the outer-periphery surface of the irregularity section 6.
