PURPOSE: An actuator of an ink jet printer head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve performance by driving cells evenly with placing a contact protrusion in a same central line with a chamber, and to operate a piezoelectric element precisely by checking arrangement of the piezoelectric element and the chamber simply. CONSTITUTION: An actuator of an ink jet printer head is composed of a chamber plate(10) having elongated chambers(11); a vibrating plate(20) mounted at a side of the chamber plate; a contact protrusion(30) integrally protruded in the vibrating plate arranged in a same central line with the chamber; and a piezoelectric driving unit(40) mounted in the contact protrusion. Driving force of the vibrating plate is increased stably with placing the vibrating plate and the piezoelectric driving unit in the same central line with the chamber. The part of the vibrating plate contacted to the piezoelectric driving unit is formed to be thick, and placed in a line with the chamber. Performance of the vibrating plate is improved evenly with contacting the vibrating plate to the piezoelectric element optimally.
