PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device in which audio information is reproduced in a relatively simple manner when the audio information to be recorded in a frame unit is divided into appropriate lengths and recorded in a multiplexed form. SOLUTION: A frame including audio information is recorded on an optical disk as a packet having a packet header. The reproducing device reproduces the optical disk in which time control information, that controls reproducing output time of audio information included in the frame when the leading of the frame is located within the packet, is included in the packet header, the recording frequency of the frame is equal to the sampling frequency of the audio information divided by an integer, also equal to a specific frequency divided by an integer and the frequency is the frequency of adding time control information to all packets. The reproducing device is provided with a pickup 80 which reads information, a demultiplexer 86 which takes out packets from the read information and an audio decoder 93 which decodes audio information included in the taken out packets based on time control information.
