PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent magnetization of a transfer pattern to a magnetic recording surface by magnetic lines generated at a magnetic field application part and which pass through a center core in a magnetic transfer device. SOLUTION: A master carrier 10 in which the cylindrical transfer pattern 11 is formed with magnetic material, and a slave medium 20 which has the magnetic recording surface 21 receiving the transfer of the transfer pattern and is equipped with a center core 23, made of metal at the central part are appressed and housed in an appression means 30. From a pair of magnetic poles in the magnetic field application part 40; N pole 41 and S pole 42, and a pair of magnetic poles in the magnetic field application part 50; N pole 51 and S pole 52, N pole 41 and S pole 52, and N pole 51 and S pole 42 are arranged close to each other. The transfer pattern 11 is transferred to the magnetic recording surface 21, by applying the magnetic field for transfer through transfer by the magnetic fields application parts 40, 50, while rotating the above appression means 30 against with respect to the magnetic field application means 40, 50.
