<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission for improving the position accuracy of a carrier and reducing the gear noise. <P>SOLUTION: A hub member 33 which is engaged with a spline in an internal friction plate 32 of a brake B-1, and an inner race 52 of a one-way clutch F-1, are jointed at a continuous welding part (a). Splines 52a, 34b, which have a predetermined interval are intervened between the inner race 52 and a side plate 34 of the carrier CR1 and engaged with the spline. Although the brake B-1 and the carrier CR1 are connected in the rotational direction, the position where the hub member 33 and the inner race 52 are deviated is prevented from affecting the carrier CR1 so that the position accuracy of the carrier CR1 is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
