PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring means in which the influence of gravity and surface tension is eliminated by discharging a fluid into a liquid and by which an elastic force can be measured stably even in case of a high-pressure and low-flow-velocity jet. SOLUTION: In the measuring method for the elastic force of the fluid, the fluid is made to flow out into a container in which the liquid is put, a force to which the container is subjected due to a discharge of the fluid is measured, the discharge of the fluid is cut off momentarily, and the elastic force of the fluid is calculated by using a difference between forces observed before and after the discharge is cut off.
