ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION-CURABLE PAINT COMPOSITION AND THE METHOD OF APPLYING SAME TO GLASS SUBSTRATES

The invention relates to an ultraviolet radiation-curable organic paint composition comprising between 80 and 95 wt.- % epoxypolyurethane-based paint; between 0.5 and 8 wt.- % additive including a mixture of polyethylene waxes and polytetrafluoroethylene waxes; between 1 and 8 wt.- % aliphatic block polyisocyanate catalyst; and an adhesion promoter size containing between 0.15 and 3 wt.- % silane which can be included in the ultraviolet radiation-curable organic paint composition or applied to a substrate. In this way, the aliphatic block polyisocyanate catalyst causes a polymerisation reaction and a concatenation reaction between the epoxy-polyurethane-based paint and the adhesion promoter when it is heated from 160 to 200 DEG C, thereby forming an interpenetration network.
