<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the speed of an open-and-close body for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A controller for the open-and-close body for the vehicle comprises a door position calculating section 74 for detecting the open-and-close position of a slide door, a speed calculating section 75 for detecting the actual moving speed of the side door, a target speed producing section 77 for producing a target speed of the slide door corresponding to the open-and-close position of the slide door, a feed back control section 78 for calculating the difference between the target speed and the detected actual moving speed and calculating a duty ratio, using the speed difference, for executing the duty control of the power that is fed to a door open-and-close driving motor for opening and closing the slide door, and a feed back gain calculating section 79 for calculating a gain used for calculating the duty ratio. With consideration for response, vibration, and nipping of a foreign substance, a combination of a proportional gain P, an integral gain I, and a feed forward gain F is determined and controlled properly in order to properly control the speed of the slide door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
