PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a close-down apparatus for testing piping withstand pressure that can be easily fitted to piping and can be used repeatedly.

SOLUTION: The close-down apparatus for testing piping withstand pressure comprises a seal plate 14 for fitting pressure fluid into piping by sealing by receiving the internal pressure of piping 12, an inner bridging means (hydraulic jack 20) for generating press force in the radial direction of the piping 12 connected to the seal plate 14 and for retaining force in the axis of the piping applied to the seal plate 14 by friction force, and a reinforcing ring 40 that can be fitted to the outer-periphery surface corresponding to the press section of piping by the bridging means.
