The invention relates to a class D power amplifier for digital audio input signals, e.g. according to the I2S standard. The inventive power amplifier comprises a PFC voltage supply and an A/D converter for returning the output signal of the amplifier and the voltage supply. The amplifier is controlled by means of digital regulation loops.
