<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable images of an imaging system with rich gradational characteristics by forming multi-gradational images in an imaging apparatus which records images by simultaneous scanning and exposure of a plurality of lines with the use of a plurality of laser light sources. <P>SOLUTION: When it is judged as a multi-gradational image or multi- gradational images are designated, changing is carried out into a direction in which dots are gathered with regularities in horizontal and vertical scanning directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
