<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of facilitating inspection and repair work for a control board mounted in an electric equipment box and cable attach/detach work to a terminal block so as to improve serviceability. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes an electric equipment box 3 provided with an open surface for storing the control board 24 and terminal blocks 22, 23, an intermediate cover 31 disposed on the open surface with the terminal blocks 22, 23 and trial operation switch 34 exposed to the surface, and an outer cover 38 for covering the intermediate cover 31.
