摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drill a good desired-sized penetration bore in a fiber reinforced composite material efficiently. SOLUTION: The method for forming and machining the penetration bore from the pre-drilled bore uses the machining means 3 of a rotationally symmetric body having a smaller diameter than the pre-drilled bore 2 provided in the fiber reinforced composite material 1. The fiber reinforced composite material is oriented so that the rotationally axial line of the machining means and the longitudinal direction of a fiber at the terminal edge of the pre-drilled bore may make a right angle. The pre-drilled bore is machined by the machining means made to rotate around the rotationally axial line of the machining means and to perform the translation motion to the terminal edge of the pre-drilled bore.
