LINEAR LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION WITH HIGH IMPACT STRENGTH

PURPOSE: A linear low density polyethylene resin composition is provided, which shows a high impact strength, excellent falling dart impact strength, tensile strength at break, elongation at break and improved film formability. CONSTITUTION: The linear low density polyethylene resin composition comprises 70-99.9 wt% of high strength linear low density polyethylene prepared by copolymerizing ethylene and CH2=CHR (wherein R is an alkyl group of C2-C8) by using a magnesium supported non-metallocene-based catalyst; and 0.1-30 wt% of general linear low density polyethylene. Preferably the high strength linear low density polyethylene and the general linear low density polyethylene have a melt flow index of 0.2-20 g/10 min (ASTM D1238, 190 deg.C, 2.16 kg) and a density of 0.910-0.930 g/cm¬3; and a comonomer of the general linear low density polyethylene is 1-butene or 1-hexene.
