PURPOSE: An emergency closing system of hot blast valve in hot stove during power failure is provided to prevent backflow of gas and melt by closing the hot blast valve using the hot blast valve emergency closing system in operation room when power failure is occurred during blowing of hot blast into blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The emergency closing system of hot blast valve in hot stove during power failure comprises an emergency closing hydraulic driving part comprising emergency closing electronic valve(15), hydraulic pump(17) attached to hydraulic pressure storage container(16), and emergency closing hydraulic cylinder(20) connected to the main body of weight wheel(34); an emergency closing subsidiary weight operating part comprising subsidiary weight(21), subsidiary weight valve descending transmission bar(37), subsidiary weight ascending sensing switches(23) installed on upper and lower parts of the subsidiary weight(21) to check the operating state of the subsidiary weight(21), subsidiary weight coiling drum(31a) connected to the subsidiary weight(21) through wire, brake power transmission hydraulic cylinder(29) and brake part(30) installed to stop the subsidiary weight(21), locker(31) for preventing unlocking of the subsidiary weight coiling drum(31a), switch(24) at opening side of the locker(31) and switch(24a) at locking side of the locker(31), brake power transmitting brake slider(42), electronic valve for operating the hydraulic cylinder(29), and checking switch(24b) for checking the locking and unlocking state of the brake; a return part comprising subsidiary weight hoisting electric motor(25), subsidiary weight hoisting power transmission cylinder(26), power transmitting clutch(28), subsidiary weight hoisting power releasing switch(27), and subsidiary weight hoisting power connecting switch(27a); and a hot blast valve closure control part comprising uninterruptible power supply (UPS)(36), emergency selection switch(41), alarm(39), and normal operating lamp(43).
