SIMULTANEOUS MULTI-MODE AND MULTI-BAND ULTRASONIC IMAGING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for an ultrasonic imaging and its device with which an echo information of a multi-mode and multi-band is acquired and processed simultaneously from a single set of pulse firings. SOLUTION: Non processed ultrasonic signal is digitized and stored in an I/Q data buffer 150. The stored data is parallel preprocessed as a function of a frequency band or multi-imaging mode. The parallel preprocess contains a data processing regarding multi-imaging mode. An output of a processor for parallel preprocess 160 is provided to an individual echo forming device 170 that is used for reconstructing multiple desirable echo information simultaneously in order to form the multi-mode or multi-band image.
