PURPOSE: A system for inputting the Korean alphabet by using 3-contact key buttons and an arrangement method therefor are provided to arrange characters of the Korean alphabet respectively independently in an individual key button as many as possible, so as to complete an input operation for 24 basic characters of the Korean alphabet with just one pressure. CONSTITUTION: In a cell phone numerical key usually composed of 12 key buttons, 3 columns and 4 rows, 4 numerical keys of '2', '5', '8' and '0' arranged in the second column are respectively replaced with a 3-contact key button in which two auxiliary contact pressing parts are additionally formed on both sides of a key button usually having one basic contact pressing part. Accordingly, a keypad including 20 individual character input keys is configured. All the 14 basic consonants and 10 basic vowels of 24 basic characters in the Korean alphabet are independently arranged on individual keys, to produce and input a desired character with one pressure.
