PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display method that is electrically rewritable, can display a moving picture and suppress contradiction between physiological factors of stereoscopic vision without eyeglasses. SOLUTION: In this three-dimensional display method by which a two-dimensional image mapping a display object onto a plane from a sight line of a viewer is displayed onto a plurality of display planes with different depth with desired luminance and within a time of after-image by human eyes to generate a three-dimensional stereoscopic image, the polarization direction of the display light of the two-dimensional image is controlled, the two-dimensional image passes through the optical system with different image forming positions depending on the polarization direction of the passing light to form the display light of the two-dimensional image onto a plurality of display planes with different depth positions so as to display the two-dimensional image onto a plurality of the display planes with different depth positions. |
