PURPOSE: A noise reduction case for a compressor is provided to prevent noise generated in operating the compressor from being transmitted to the periphery of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction case for a compressor has a suction port pierced to suck air, and an exhaust port pierced to exhaust the inner air. The noise reduction case has a cylindrical shape to house the whole area from the lower part of the compressor to the upper part of the compressor. The noise reduction case is arranged to cut off the periphery of the compressor and the noise reduction case prevents noise of the compressor from being transmitted to the periphery. Mufflers(23) are formed to one of the suction port and the exhaust port, to prevent noise generated in the inside of a body(21) from being transmitted to the outside through one of the suction port and the exhaust port.
