PURPOSE: An Internet voice communication system in a private network by a media proxy and a method therefor are provided to perform an Internet voice call by additionally composing a media proxy. CONSTITUTION: A terminal including an internal Internet phone(11) and an external Internet phone(20) connects to a private network(10), and performs a voice communication through an extension or an external Internet network. A gatekeeper(12) transmits signals for the voice communication of the terminal, and manages an Internet phone service. An h.323 proxy(30) i.e., media server relays media data for the voice communication of the terminal. A router(20) transmits and receives data between the private network(10) and the external Internet network. |
