PURPOSE: A method for cutting off access of a designated number in a mobile phone is provided to automatically cut off access to a specific number designated by a user with the use of a caller ID function, thereby protecting the user from malicious calls. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer records an access cut-off telephone number in a memory(S201). While an entire operation state of a mobile phone is in a standby mode(S203), if a telephone access request signal is received(S205), the microcomputer extracts a caller's telephone number from a decoded signal(S207). The microcomputer decides whether the extracted number is included in the access cut-off telephone number(S209). If not, the microcomputer generates a predetermined ring signal(S211). If the extracted number is included in the access cut-off number, the microcomputer automatically cuts off access of the caller(S213).
