摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor bar joining apparatus wherein simultaneous position control, fine position control, swift speed control, and like can be implemented with respect to a pressing means which presses joining portions against each other from two opposite directions. SOLUTION: The rotor bar joining apparatus is provided with distance- detecting means and a press-control means. The distance detecting means are installed on individual pressing portions so that the distance detecting means detect the distances between the tips of advancing pressing portions and rotor cores or rotor bars, and, when each of the distances reach a predetermined minute distance, output detection signals. The press-control means controls a pressing means. More specifically, each time the detection signal is outputted from each distance-detecting means, the press-controlling means stops the advance of the pressing portion for which the detection signal is outputted to equalize the distances between both the pressing portions and the respective rotor cores or rotor bars. Then, the press-control means causes both the pressing means to advance again in synchronization with each other and at a substantially equal speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
