PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a maintenance method of a lead-acid battery in which corrosion of positive electrode lattice body can be suppressed. SOLUTION: During a standing period of the lead-acid battery, a charge is carried out in a charging current of 0.005 CA to 0.01 CA (unit C is the rated capacity value of the lead-acid battery).
