<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a liquid crystal display device which is easily assembled, in a liquid crystal display device wherein pixels and driving circuits are formed on the same substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral frame is formed so as to surround a display area where pixels are formed, a liquid crystal composition is held in the internal part of the peripheral frame, the outside of the peripheral frame is filled with a sealing material in the same width and a driving circuit forming area is provided at the inside of the peripheral frame. A liquid crystal panel is housed in a package, a housing part is blocked by a light shielding frame and the light shielding frame is provided so as to shield also the driving circuit forming area at the inside of the peripheral frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
