The safety system of a brake system of a two-wheeler has a facility whereby a force connection exists between braking force of the front wheel brake and the center of gravity of the rider on the saddle. The braking force and negative acceleration is reduced if the loading on the saddle is relieved. To achieve this, a hydraulic cylinder (5) is fitted beneath the saddle and via a hydraulic line (4) linked to the front brake system (3) so that the hydraulic brake pressure is set against the weight of the rider.
